Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • For an article with several authors, the first author indicated in the manuscript is assumed to be the head writer or lead researcher. The order of authors and/or the list of authors should be final before submission.
  • Once the article has been submitted to the IJTHD journal for publication and the process has begun, you are not allowed to submit it to other journal publications unless you withdraw your submission to the journal and it has been approved by the editorial board. You may send your withdrawal letter to journal@thd.globesummit.org
  • The document to be uploaded should be in a Word document file Format. font size 11.
  • The manuscript is prepared according to the IJTHD author guidelines.
  • Clear and informative title.
  • Full names of all authors with institutional affiliations.
  • Corresponding author is clearly indicated with email and ORCID ID (if available)
  • Title- Font Style- Times New Roman, Bold; Font Size-22; Font Color- Black
  • Author Details- Font Style- Times New Roman; Font Size-11; Font Color- Blue
  • Full names of all authors with institutional affiliations.
  • Structured abstract (maximum 250 words).
  • 3–5 appropriate keywords relevant to the study.
  • Sections include: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
  • Tables and figures are numbered and properly captioned.
  • Figures are submitted in high resolution (≥300 dpi).
  • Tables are editable and not embedded as images.
  • References formatted according to APA 7th Edition style.
  • All in-text citations have corresponding entries in the reference list.
  • When available, URLs for the references have been provided. DOI, if available, must be included for the journal articles cited in this paper.

Manuscript Preparation

1. General Format

  • Format: Follow the journal’s template for formatting (font type, size, margins, spacing).

  • Title Page: Manuscript title, author names, affiliations, email addresses, and corresponding author’s details.

  • Abstract: A concise summary (150–300 words) outlining the research's purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.

  • Keywords: 4–6 keywords relevant to the study.

  • Main Sections:

    • Introduction: Background, research objectives, and study significance.

    • Methods: Detailed description of the methodology for reproducibility.

    • Results: Clear presentation of findings, supported by tables and figures.

    • Discussion: Interpretation of results, limitations, and implications.

    • Conclusion: Summary of findings and potential future work.

  • References: Use the citation style required by the journal.

  • Figures and Tables: Submit high-resolution images; number figures and tables sequentially with descriptive captions.

Note: The article must not exceed 15 pages.

2. Ethical and Plagiarism Considerations

  • Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts must be original and unpublished, with proper citations. Plagiarism detection software will be used.

  • Consequences of Plagiarism: Rejection of the manuscript and possible future submission bans.

3. Authorship and Contributions

  • Criteria: List only those who contributed significantly to the research.

  • Acknowledgments: Mention funding sources, technical assistance, or other contributions.

  • Conflicts of Interest: Declare any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts.

4. Data Availability

  • Statement: Include details on where supporting data can be accessed.

5. Submission Process

  • Online Portal: Submit via the journal’s online system.

  • Cover Letter: Address the editor-in-chief, highlight significance, and confirm originality.

6. Peer Review and Revisions

  • Peer Review: Be prepared for a review process.

  • Revisions: Address reviewers’ comments thoroughly.

7. Fees and Open Access

  • Article Processing Charges (APC): Check for applicable fees.

8. Post-Acceptance

  • Proofreading: Review the final proof for errors.

  • Copyright: Sign the copyright transfer agreement.

Note: Articles that do not meet the above specifications will be returned for revision.

  1. The copyright transfer covers the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the contribution, including reprints, translations, Photographic reproductions, microform, electronic form, or any other reproductions of a similar nature.
  2. The Author may not publish his/her contribution anywhere else without the prior written permission of the publisher unless it has been changed substantially.
  3. The Author promises that the article is original work, has not previously been published, and is not currently under consideration by another publication. If any copyrighted work is included, then an approval letter has to be submitted and signed by the copyright holder.
  4. The Author signs for and accepts responsibility for releasing this material on behalf of any co-authors. There is no objection from any of the Co-Authors to delegating legal rights to the author for paper publication.
  5. The right to use all or part of this article, including tables and figures in future works of their own, provided that the proper acknowledgement is made to the Publisher as copyright holder.
  6. The right to make copies of this article for his/her use, but not for sale and it is the responsibility of each author to ensure that papers submitted to the above-mentioned Journal are written with ethical standards and concerning plagiarism.
